Basics: How to use SC Deals and Create Records?

To start using the SC Deals bot, just complete first the installation & user registration. Send any message to the bot and it will prompt you a navigation card.

You can create the following record types to Dynamics 365 by using the default navigation card or by typing in (or dictating on phone) the corresponding keyword:

In the screenshots below, we describe the basic functionality of record creation and also show how the data is mapped to Dynamics 365.

Account

Creates an account record

Appointment

Creates an appointment and sets it regarding an account

Please note, in most cases Appointments are set regarding Accounts. If you would like to change this behavior e.g. to Opportunities, just drop us a message and we’ll change it for you.

Fill in the Appointment details and select Next
On the second page, you can select the correct Account.

1. List of best-matching Accounts
2. If you find the correct Account, just click Select account.
3. If you need to change some of the details, you can go back to the first screen
4. If you think there’s no matching account in Dynamics 365, you can trigger an Account creation card
5. If you want to search again, you can do it directly from the same card.

Call

Creates a phone call activity and sets it regarding to a contact

Fill in the phone call details.

If you are are logging in details of a phone call that you’ve already completed, choose status Completed. Use Call Later -status if you want to get a reminder later on to call the contact again.
On the second page, you can select the correct Contact.

1. List of best-matching Contacts.
2. If you find the correct Contact, just click Select and Create
3. If you need to change some of the details, you can go back to the first screen
4. If you think there’s no matching Contact in Dynamics 365, you can trigger a Contact creation card
5. If you want to search again, you can do it directly from the same card.

Contact

Creates a contact record and sets it regarding to an account.

Fill in the contact details and choose Next.
On the second page, you can select the correct Account.

2. If you find the correct Account, just click Select account.
3. If you need to change some of the details, you can go back to the first screen
4. If you think there’s no matching account in Dynamics 365, you can trigger an Account creation card
5. If you want to search again, you can do it directly from the same card.

Lead

Creates a lead record with a possibility to attach it to an existing contact or new create a new contact. In addition, you can delegate the lead straightaway to the correct sales person.

Please note: Lead processes vary a lot between companies. Please let us know how you would like to your lead process function and we’ll fix it for you.

1. Fill in here a contact person name if it already exists in D365.
2. If you want to create the Lead for some other D365 user, fill in the name here
3. Proceed to the next page
4. If you know that the contact is not yet created in D365, you can type in the contact details by clicking this button.
On the second page, you can select the correct Contact.

Opportunity

Creates an opportunity and attaches it to a contact. Contact record should already exist in D365. Opportunity’s Account info will be automatically updated based on Contact’s Parent Account.

Enter Opportunity details and choose correct Contact.
On the second page, you can select the correct Contact.

2. If you find the correct Contact, just click Select and Create
3. If you need to change some of the details, you can go back to the first screen
4. If you think there’s no matching Contact in Dynamics 365, you can trigger a Contact creation card
5. If you want to search again, you can do it directly from the same card.

Task

Creates a Task activity. You can set it regarding either Account/Contact/Lead/Opportunity.

Note: If you want to enable our Outlook Calendar integration for Tasks, please let us know

1. Choose the record type you’d like to assign the Task to.
2. If you want to create the Task for some other D365 user, fill in the name here
On the second page, you can select the correct record.

Tips for efficient use of SuperCards


You can trigger multiple cards at once and work simultaneously on them

Cards do not expire, so you don’t need to worry if something suddenly breaks your flow

With SC Deals, you can fill in the basic details of records that you need most often. If you need to fill in more details ask us to include those fields in your setup or you can do that also simply by opening the record in CRM
